For customers who have purchased "Lifetime Upgrades", it’s free to get every major upgrade and every latest version. If you haven't yet received our upgrade email, please email to [email protected] to free get the latest license code and version.
For customers who have purchased “Yearly Subscription”, you can get every major upgrade and every latest version until you cancel your subscription.
A minor upgrade changes in the digit to the right of the second decimal point (e.g., AOMEI Backupper Pro Edition v5.7.1 >> AOMEI Backupper Pro Edition v5.7.2) and it’s free. You just need to download the latest version and use the license code you received to register the program.
A major upgrade changes in the digit to the left of the first decimal point and/or the right of the first decimal point (e.g., AOMEI Backupper Pro Edition v5.5 >> AOMEI Backupper Pro Edition v5.6 or AOMEI Backupper Pro Edition v5.7 >> AOMEI Backupper Pro Edition v5.8). Whether it’s free or paid depending on if you have purchased "Lifetime Upgrades" or not.
You can upgrade from one edition to another, e.g. AOMEI Backupper Pro Edition (Lifetime Upgrades Plan) >> AOMEI Backupper Server Edition (Lifetime Upgrades Plan), or AOMEI Backupper Pro Edition (Yearly Subscription Plan) >> AOMEI Backupper Server Edition (Yearly Subscription Plan) by only paying the price difference between the two editions plus a small amount of upgrade fee. When you upgrade, you can only choose accordant plans of the higher editions and are not able to change the previous plan.
For customers who want to purchase AOMEI cloud storage, you will need to first upgrade to a paid edition of AOMEI Backupper if you are currently using a free edition, since cloud storage is an additional feature of all paid editions. While you can always enjoy 15-day free trial of 1 TB cloud storage if you choose to stick with free edition of AOMEI Backupper.
If you have a paid edition of AOMEI Backupper but don’t have cloud storage previously, now you want to upgrade to an edition with cloud, you just need to pay the price difference of the cloud as well.
